Summary: I am hesitant to write how pleasant this stay was because I don’t want to make this hidden gem popular. This was a perfect vacation with a 1.5 hr drive from Shreveport. The setting was very peaceful directly on the lake in the back of a country neighborhood. Being a former chef, I thoroughly enjoyed the kitchen. The living area was huge and extremely comfortable with plenty of windows to see the lake. The bedrooms were all very spacious(especially the grand master). Plenty of room for everyone. This is a place that you go to stay and not go out to eat. The grocery store is 5 min away, but the restaurants are scarce. We loved the town, house, property and lake and will make this a tradition at least once a year. Thank you for this lovely relaxing vacation.
