Escape to Southeastern Ohio Appalachian foothills to our renovated farm home. Spacious and beautiful farmhouse getaway with a large yard and farm country views. This property offers fresh air, peaceful serenity, and a place to unwind for busy families or individuals visiting the area.
This warm and welcoming abode offers a large kitchen for preparing home cooked meals for the whole family, cozy living areas, and comfortable sleeping for up to 8 people— all to have you feeling right at home. The sunsets, sunrises, wildflowers, and star gazing at the farm are breathtaking. Features Four bedrooms, a living room, family room, and enclosed patio.
Close to several recreation areas including Appalachian Hills Wildlife Area, The Wilds and Jesse Owens State Park. This area is known for hunting and fishing. Outdoor activities abound or stay inside relax on our reclining sofas, watch one of four TV’s, or play board games with your family.
Historic Marietta is within 30 miles and McConnelsville is only 15 miles away.
This 45 acre farm has been in our family for almost 100 years. The home is lovingly renovated in 2023 by our family. Our father built the original small home in 1948 and our parents were married in 1949. The home was added on to several times through the years and features several living spaces to allow quiet retreats and family gatherings.

Summary: This house was able to fit 8 grown men comfortably. There was plenty of space to hang out in as a group. The dining table fit everyone for meals. The converted garage area was a great spot. The pond and gazebo were a good add on as well. 10/10 would definitely stay there over and over again.
