Welcome to our family home, where you can relish in the joys of the living room swing and the backyard treehouse. Just a short 2.4-mile distance from downtown, this urban sanctuary offers the perfect escape from the city's hustle and bustle while still being conveniently close to all the action.
Our house is designed to be both fun and comfortable for babies, kids, and grown-ups alike. The living room features a swing that can easily be removed if your little one prefers it as a weapon rather than a swing. Sleeping arrangements in our 3,000 sq ft home include a master bedroom with a king-sized bed and toddler beds for little ones. The master bathroom has ample space and two vanities. The kids' room features three twin bunk beds, with a half bathroom conveniently located across the hall. The yellow guest room has a queen bed and a private full bathroom, while the blue guest room has two twin beds and a private full bathroom. All bedrooms can accommodate pack 'n plays if needed.
For additional guests, we have comfortable couches, a love seat, a chaise lounge, folding camp cots, and an air mattress available. Fresh linens and plenty of towels are provided.
The kids' room is a haven for play, with three sets of bunk beds, a mini climbing wall, and a Lego drawer. Your older children will compete for the top bunk, reached by a rock climbing wall, and slide down the fireman's pole for breakfast. Inside, you'll find an extensive children's library, a collection of board games, and classic children's toys. Outside, the kids can enjoy the giant sandbox shaded under the sunroom or defend their territory in the double-decker treehouse.
For families with young children, we understand the importance of finding a kid-friendly place. In addition to the standard baby-proofing measures, we offer various amenities such as pack 'n plays, strollers, a portable baby gate, a baby bathtub, high-chair, booster seats, baby dishes and utensils, and a video baby monitor.
Our kitchen is fully stocked with staple ingredients like sugar, flour, and spices. You are welcome to use any food left by previous guests. Our kitchen is well-equipped with pots, pans, and other utensils, and various small appliances such as a crockpot, toaster oven, microwave, blender, rice cooker, immersion blender/chopper, Keurig coffee maker, coffee grinder, and a regular coffee maker. There is enough dish-ware for at least 10 place settings, and a propane gas grill is available for use.
Please note that our house is strictly non-smoking. Smoking is not allowed anywhere on the property, including the front porch, back deck, backyard, or front yard. If you need to smoke, please do so on the street. Violating this rule will result in a $500 cleaning fee.
