Nestled in the Mountains just 3 miles from beautiful Lake Nantahala, this cozy log cabin provides a picturesque secluded setting without being totally isolated from the modern world.
The cabin has one bedroom and a loft bedroom upstairs-approximately 15 stairs. The master bedroom contains one queen size bed. The loft bedroom contains one queen bed and one twin bed. There is also a convertible bed down stairs in front of a huge stone fireplace. Modern amenities include a kitchen and bathroom with shower, TV, DVD ,Phone ,movies and games, but what this cabin is really all about is unique beautiful natural surroundings and things to do. A rushing creek flows underneath the rear deck. The cabin is bordered by the Nantahala National Forest that invites hiking and exploring.
You will have a short walk from the driveway to the cabin crossing a small bridge over the creek. The driveway is short but steep and gravel-so a 4WD vehicle is recommended in the winter months especially.
*This cabin does not have internet and the area does not have cell service* Just 3 miles away is the Lakes End Café and you are more than welcome to take advantage of their wifi to catch up on emails. Please note that the Lakes End Cafe is closed November-March.
