Riverfront property with gorgeous sloped private woods on the opposite side. Sloped area to the river makes it your own private, secluded paradise with a sitting area on the riverbank. Lots of beautiful wildlife, including our own wild resident Bald Eagle family who return every year. Crossroads Sunset Trail RV Trailer. Sleeps 5-6 in RV: Master BR w/Queen; foldout sofa w/Queen; Dinette makes a bed (for two small children or one adult). Includes kitchen amenities and small appliances. Outdoor kitchen with refrigerator. Outdoor grill. Pole barn has 50/30 amp electrical hookups, solar power, Generac generator, water hookup, dozens of hooks for Eno hammocks, and a porch swing where you can just relax and watch the river go by. Perfect place for year-round kayaking or tubing for all ages because the rapids are extremely gentle on this part of the river. Four kayaks and one tandem kayak available for use. (TN law requires the use of life jackets on the river. Some life jackets are on-site, but guests may need to bring/purchase other sizes.) Owners can coach inexperienced kayakers about where to put-in (at Hwy 411 or Patty Bridge) and get out at the private Boat Ramp on the property. **Please note: for safety, it is advisable to take a cell phone (in a waterproof case), for emergencies, when out on the water. Plenty of nearby entertainment: Drive 20 minutes to the local Amish Market, Lake Parksville for boating, drive up Chilhowee Mountain (beautiful views), take an easy hike to Benton Falls; or for the more adventurous: Whitewater Rafting on the Ocoee River, or go up in a Glider from the nearby glider-port. Drive 1 hour to Chattanooga to visit the Aquarium (#2 in the nation), Rock City, or Ruby Falls. Drive 1.5 hours to Pigeon Forge/Sevierville to visit Dollywood, the Island (shopping and dining), Outlet Malls, book an entertainment show (Dixie Stampede, Comedy Barn, Country Tonight), or tour Gatlinburg and drive the Roaring Fork Motor Trail for a possible bear sighting (safely from your car). $150/night.
