Summary: I don't know if it because of new ownership and transition, but my wife and I were commenting that it seems like the soul is gone from the Monte Vista. I officiated a wedding there several years ago and it seems like a lot of the charm of the facility is missing. That charm is the main reason I booked there. I hope that it comes back.
