You'll enjoy a large 2,300 sq ft renovated home with modern amenities. The large home was converted into a duplex in the 1920’s and the architecture and structural style maintained throughout the years. You’ll find the home private and neighborhood peaceful. We live in the first floor apartment and travel often. The 2nd & 3rd floors of the charming historical building are yours with private entrance via the front porch and back stairwell. The Gas Light Clifton neighborhood has old world charm with grand homes with convince of being 9 minutes drive from OTR, downtown and all the popular attractions Cincinnati has to offer (see below for travel times).
With 4 large bedrooms (2 on each floor) and 2 living rooms on each floor (one living room with door is also designed to flex as a bedroom), there is plenty of space for multiple couples, families or groups. Kids are welcome! Just 2 blocks - a 4 minute walk - to the bustling Clifton Business District you will find Geater's Ice Cream, Clifton Market, 2 coffee shops and many bars / restaurants, it will be hard not to fall in love with the neighborhood!
The home has dedicated central AC & heating on each floor and ceiling fans or table fans in each bedroom for your comfort, regardless of the season. The home has plenty of space to get ready for events (you’ll find a “get ready” area on the 3rd floor), relax for a movie, play games, or share a meal in the large dining room. Tall ceilings and large east and west facing windows throughout the home create an incredibly warm and welcoming space both in the morning & afternoon.
There is parking in the carport and long driveway for up to 6 cars and free street parking on both sides of Thrall St in front of the home.
