Welcome to Our Lakehouse
We are happy to now offer our special family lake lodge known as The Lakehouse, situated on two forested acres of Toledo Bend southern shore. This stunning two story secluded waterfront home has exceptional attention to detail and offers a quiet gateway with something for everyone. Toledo bend lake offers great fishing opportunities but also has a rich history, championship golf course, state historic site, two state parks and endless unspoiled beauty.
The Property
Upon arrival you’ll notice plenty of paved gorgeous flagstone parking for up to 6 vehicles. Also, the u -shaped limestone gravel driveway makes maneuvering your boat trailer easy. The front of the home might look unassuming but just wait until you step into the backyard and see the rest of this magnificent jewel. The backyard boasts upper and lower rambling porches which attaches the treehouse silo to the home...seeing is believing. Then meander your way down multiple flagstone decks and stone bridges to your private floating platform. Horticulturist have planned our property with you in mind. Walk in our wooded forest next to our lodge or stroll our grounds with many azaleas, magnolias, hollies, gardenias, irises, junipers, ginger and more. We are positioned on in a cove with beautiful bald cypress grove, this will be a vacation not soon to be forgotten.
Cast your cares away, and lounge on the deck and watch the eagles and Canadian geese fly by. After a day on the lake, tournament fisherman can clean your catch at the stainless steel fish cleaning station, fire up the two charcoal bbq pit or start up the two fire pits for s’mores while watching the sunset.
The Home
When your ready to head inside, you’ll find 3,500 square ft of sophisticated cabin style to spread out in. With cedar walls, exposed beam ceilings, exotic hardwood floors and a stonework fireplace. Dish TV can be found on four different televisions throughout the lodge, including our 65” HDTV in the living area. We also have ceiling fans in most all the rooms for your comfort. Internet is provided by Hughes satellite.

The Treehouse
The treehouse is a silo style and has 2 stories. Upstairs has a unique bedroom with queen bed and Dish TV and is accessible from the upstairs porch of the main home or the rope ladder from downstairs of the tree house. Downstairs has a kitchenette. One person at a time on rope ladder with a maximum weight limit of 175lbs.
Community
Our lodge is conveniently located 3 minutes from Pirates Cove boat launch and Hook ‘ems restaurant. We are also located less than 10 minutes to Curtis Restaurant, grocery and gas.
