Thoughtfully decorated and adorable home in quiet neighborhood setting that is less than 10 mins from most of Lafayette! Appx 7 mins from downtown Lafayette and the University as well as most of the major healthcare facilities. One block to Cajundome Blvd where you can hop on the walk/bike path. Enjoy the front porch or big backyard with your 4 legged friend and enjoy all the Lafayette has to offer from this ideal Midcity location! Large garage available for parking or storage. Parking for 2 vehicles in driveway. Washer and dryer are located in storage area right outside kitchen back door to your left.
You'll have a great night's sleep in the spacious master BR that features a comfy king sized bed and blackout curtains. Lots of storage with the spacious closet and 2 chest of drawers. You can also relax in the sitting area with a nice book and enjoy the sunlight coming in through the windows.
The second bedroom is set up as an office but also has a convertible chair bed if you have a guest staying for just a few days. A topper as well as linens can be found in the closet.
The galley kitchen has the essentials needed to whip up a meal too - complete with pots/pans/baking sheets and all your dishware, etc along with stove, fridge, microwave and coffeemaker. We have added a bar cart for additional counter space and storage as well.
The bathroom features a bathtub with shower as well as a nice sized closet for storage. We have supplied towels for your pup as well as a sofa cover if they are joining you there.
And yes! We have 2 front doors! This traditional Cajun home has 2 front doors, which was the style in the 1800s where one door was for family and the other door for visitors. And it helped with airflow too! We hope you will come for a stay and check out the 2 door house (but we really only use one! LOL!)
