The house is surrounded by the National Key Deer Refuge, great for key deer and wildlife viewing along many hiking and biking trails. If you are looking to explore other Keys, you are off MM 30 about midway from Key West and Marathon. A 26' + boat fits comfortably at the dock, within minutes you are in the Atlantic Ocean or the Gulf. Best blue water fishing, s/a snapper, cobia, grouper, as well as all species of pelagic fish and excellent backwater fishing for bonefish, permit and tarpon. Scuba and snorkeling are also a dream at Looe Key Marine Sanctuary, one of the best reefs in the keys, about 4 miles away. Bahia Honda State Park offers great beaches, and several'd boat rentals and charter options. Boat Ramp for small boats nearby or at Dolphin Marina.
