From the open concept front living room with architectural windows to the huge sun/rec room bringing the beautiful outdoors in. You won't believe the luxury awaiting you in this beautiful waterfront 3-bedroom, 2-bathroom 2700 sq ft vacation home on a deep water canal in Crystal River. This home has just been completely remodeled with a new kitchen with granite, all new beds with new mattresses, linens, and bedding and hardwood floors in all bedrooms and hall. This is easily the best value in crystal river as it’s more than 50% larger than most other vacation rentals yet listed at 50% less than what they charge. We keep our prices low so we stay fully booked. Also the owner manages the property and answers calls immediately. Be weary of others using poor property managers you can never reach. This house comfortably sleeps 12 with a 1 king, 2 queens, 2 pull out sofa sleepers, and a futon. What's unique about this home that you won’t find in other rentals is it offers 4 separate living areas for added privacy (living, family, library and a huge rec room with home theater and pool table). When you walk through the entry double wood doors you are transfixed on the openness of the living room with large hickory beams across the cathedral ceiling, giving you that Swiss chalet feel. This room is great for watching tv on the 55" flat screen TV. Walk through the slider doors into the large recreation room with cathedral tongue and groove wood ceilings. It is surrounded by windows and offers great panoramic views of the water. If you want more privacy, you can pull down the exterior sun shades. It also has a home theater with 100" projection screen and dvd player with comfy seating for 10. This room is popular for family movie night, playing indoor ping pong.
Just down the hall you'll enter the family room with fireplace and 43" flat screen tv. Situated behind this room is a cozy and quiet library sitting room complete with rattan sofa and table with 2 chairs for enjoying your morning coffee. All 3 bedrooms include large flat screen TV's. The 2 bathrooms have both been remodeled with granite counter top vanities and tiled showers.
The kitchen has been remodeled with new granite counter tops, appliances, and a large eating area with 4 bar stools. It is fully stocked with all your kitchen needs. The dining area has a large country wooden table with 6 chairs.
Outside there is a covered arbor with patio living area complete with two tables and chairs with a fire pit. There is a charcoal grill as well. Down to the water you will find a very large floating dock over 35' in length. This dock sits in deep water and can easily accommodate 2 - 3 boats. The canal is extra wide to easily turn your boat around. Most others are not. Plus there is a boat launch less than half a mile away making it super easy access to our dock.
Another huge benefit over other rentals is we have an oversized winding driveway easily accommodating 6 or more vehicles plus a large side yard which can store 2 boat trailers. You won’t find this In other rentals. Most don’t always think ahead of this prior to booking and really struggle with once they get here.
Crystal River is known as the 'Home of the Manatee' and offers great restaurants, shops, and water activities, like fishing, kayaking, boating, and more. You can fish fresh water game from King's bay or take the 25 minute trip down Crystal River to the Gulf of Mexico and catch anything from trout to shark. Fishing off the dock, you can catch blue gill, large mouth bass, sail catfish, blue crabs and mangrove snapper.
Which ever place you choose to stay, you can't go wrong in Crystal River - it's old Florida at its best. It's scenic, surrounded by wild life, and with beautiful clear blue springs. You can see dolphin and manatee almost every time you go boating and sometimes right off our dock. And there are otters living in this canal as well.
For your recreation pleasure, we also have 2 mens and 1 ladies 10 speed bikes, 7 kayaks, and 2 paddle board.s
